![]() Thanks to any and all who contribute to the thread. Just trying to wrap my head around how I can do this without sacrificing practicality, and I don't have much (read: none) experience with digital mixers. ![]() If the interface is fully functional, how would I rout the audio back in to mix on the board? Would I literally have to run TRS cables from the outputs back to the inputs? Haha.Īnd lets say I was to use my current interface setup, is there any benefit to the sound when using digital mixers? They don't have input or output transformers, do they? Mainly, how does the interface work? Is it a full blown interface built in with all the ins and outs functional, or am I stuck with only recording one stereo track like the budget USB mixers? ![]() I'm hoping some owners of these can chime in. But I'm a little confused on a few things, and looking it up is giving me some cloudy info. I've been thinking about something digital that I CAN recall mixes on, like the StudioLive stuff or maybe a Midas M32. Originally, I wanted a Soundcraft GB8 but it just doesn't seem practical with modern workflow and needing to recall mixes. I've been wanting to get a mixing "console" in the studio, mainly for the clients, as silly as that sounds.
